Policies & Studio Etiquette

Policies:

  • Client cancellations:

    • Early cancelation occurs 12 or more hours before scheduled class - no charge

    • Late cancelation occurs less than 12 hours before class and the class is charged to your account

  • Studio cancellations:

    • If the studio needs to cancel classes due to inclement weather or lack of sign up the class will be canceled 2 or more hours before class time and clients who have signed up for class online will receive an email and a text letting them know the class is canceled and the class is returned to the clients account.

  • Booking and  payment:

    • This is done through our booking site/app MindBody. This is relatively easy and can be done from your computer or your phone. We are happy to help you if needed. Please try to book classes at least 24 hours before class is scheduled to begin so you will be assured to have a spot and the class runs.

Studio Etiquette:

  • Arrival:

    • First-time clients new to the workout need to arrive 5-10 minutes early to fill out paperwork and become familiar with the studio and equipment and can receive important set-up instructions, teacher introductions and safety notes before the class begins. We can't do this after class starts so unfortunately we can't allow late entry.

    • Returning clients [experienced with the workout] should please let us know if you are running a few minutes late and we will hold a spot for you. Open spots will be offered to waitlist or drop in clients 5 minutes after class starts.

  • Clutter:

    • We looooove our phones but please put them on vibrate or turn them off and leave them in your bag.

    • Towels and water only on the floor - If you need to monitor your phone for emergency reasons, please notify us before class.

    • No gum please - It doesn't mix well with exercise and we don't want to test our CPR skills!

  • Tune in:

    • Your instructor is giving cues based on what they are seeing [you] do so tune in for those adjustments and you'll have an even better workout!

    • Avoid chatter with your friends during class since it distracts your neighbors.

    • While waiting for your class to begin or after your class is finished please be considerate of ongoing classes or private instruction going on around you and limit chatter to a whisper.
